Cathy: the most popular of our smaller classic wedding cars
In late 1959 Jaguar announced the new Mark II with three engine options, a facelift and a revamp of the suspension. Our Mark II in Old English White has the larger 3.8 engine with the highly desirable manual gearbox with overdrive as well as the rare wire wheel option. ‘Cathy’ as she is known, underwent a full body and mechanical restoration just a few years ago. At the same time her beautiful red leather interior was completely re-upholstered. Following the ‘Morse’ TV series the Mk II’s have become very popular as Bridal or Bridesmaids wedding cars.
